MARTORELL : October 9, 2008 - The launch campaign for the SEAT Altea XL won a prestigious Euro Effie Award in Bronze. The campaign was created by SEAT’s Barcelona based Lead-Agency Atletico International Advertising.
The Euro Effies, presented by the European Association of Communications Agencies, are the premier awards for communications effectiveness across Europe – rewarding campaigns that build Brands across two or more EU markets.
This year the awarded work went through the toughest criteria in Euro Effies history. Only 14 campaigns were awarded with a trophy.
The awarded campaign “Toys” for the Launch of the SEAT Altea XL displayed a compelling success story over the top five European markets. “Toys” drove a 25% positive swing in sales in Europe’s toughest markets, brought new buyers into the SEAT family – as many as 8 in 10 came from other makes and made up ground on five of the other six players.
