Renault Clio Tech’Run

Boulogne Billancourt Cedex : October 15, 2008 - Renault is pleased to announce the release of Clio Tech’Run, a new limited edition powered by the TCe 100 petrol engine which delivers both driving pleasure and low fuel consumption. Its distinctive exterior looks include foglamps, black headlamp masks and 16-inch aluminium alloy wheels.

Distinctive exterior looks
The exterior styling of the limited edition five-door Clio Tech’Run is particularly distinctive, and includes foglamps, black headlamp masks and 16-inch aluminium alloy wheels. This limited edition marks the introduction of a new dark charcoal and chrome interior (available for Clio Extrême Foncée, too). All the body colours available in the Clio Extrême Foncée catalogue are available for this limited edition version.

The TCe 100 engine combines driving pleasure and low fuel consumption.
The Tech’Run limited edition is powered by the best 100hp petrol engine of its class which has been engineered for driving pleasure. This 1,149cc unit returns the fuel consumption of an engine of its size, yet it boasts the power of a 1.4-lite engine (74kW) and the torque of a 1.6 (145Nm). It is equipped with a low inertia turbocharger and has been developed to become its class's performance and fuel consumption benchmark. With fuel consumption standing at just 5.8 litres/100km – equivalent to CO2 emissions of 137g/km – under the bonnet of Clio III, it is particularly frugal and respectful of the environment.
